Ryan Moody - Box Jump World Record

Earlier this year, Ryan Moody of CrossFit 801 secured the world record for the highest ever box jump.  The stipulations were that he could not use forward momentum before the jump, and that he also had to maintain his balance on the top of the structure.  How high is that you ask?  56 inches.  This record is recognized by Academy world records and I believe it's currently pending with Guinness as well.

See ya Space Cowboys...

  3. Agreed should be from a standing position...walking up allows you to jump assisted....with momentum... Plus the big Tyre you use to land on has a round surface not actually being 56" upon where you land....just stating the facts!
